So I just recently finished Dragon Age Inquisition and I must say it has been a really mixed ride. I've been really unsatisfied with games that have been released in the past few years. Generally a rule of thumb I use to recommend games is that fact if I am actually able to FINISH the game (though this rule doesn't work all the time because I've finished Diablo...
So today I just received my Steelseries "Skates" that I got off of ebay from a seller named ITakTech (ebay user named takasta12). They were about 3.99 and shipping was free. It took about a week (which is arguably pretty fast) to receive the item despite the seller shipping from China. This may have been due to the fact that the item was sent in an envelope (regular letter...
STEELSERIES. WHAT GIVES?
FIX: Here
So I bought the Steelseries Sensei [RAW] Rubberized around the same time I ordered my CX750M and all the other components I upgrade. It is a superb mouse. I had replaced my G600 since the G600 mouse ended up being too bulky, and I disliked the logitech peripheral software. Also the G600 doesn't have the same HARD SNAP click like the Razer Deathadder that I had before the G600. As a result I would be unable to click as fast since the pop back of the mouse click was much slower. Overall I felt the Sensei Raw (which I got for about $40 off Amazon) was a much more refined product. I think rubberized peripherals should be a standard in the computer industry, rather than a perk.
Anyways I've had this mouse for what? About two months(?), and it now exhibits the same behavior that made me stop using my Deathadder (3500DPI) which I had purchased during the summer before my first year of college (3+ years ago?). When I scroll with the mouse wheel, scrolling down wards will scroll the page downwards, but will occasionally scroll upwards instead for no reason causing a stuttering like effect when reading long posts and would make me lose my position. The same issue occurs when scrolling upwards, it will occasional scroll downward instead. As someone who heavily uses the scroll wheel, this issue annoys me like no other. Even worse I read about Steelseries' RMA process. Apparently you have to ship the product ALL THE WAY TO DENMARK. Are you flipping serious? As I explained in my DEAD CX750M post, RMAing is generally out of question for me...
This issue didn't occur on my Deathadder until nearly half a decade of usage. I managed to fix the issue temporarily on the Deathadder by opening up the mouse and using a pair of pliers on the mouse wheel mechanical component (The wheel was placed between some sort of device that that squeezed the mouse wheel in place. I applied some force to squeeze it ends closer together and it fixed the issue..temporarily--it eventually came back again). Opening the mouse for both the Deathadder and Sensei require you to remove the mice feet (the bottom pads) which ultimately ruin the mouse's glide and smoothness unless you buy a new set. As a result I did not try this fix (in addition to the fact that the sensei might use a different component).
As of now I have no idea what do. Thanks a lot STEELSERIES >_>

GOOGLE..What just happened? So recently one of my favorite Korean Hiphop groups EPIK HIGH, just released their latest album Shoebox. Official Album Sampler: Anyway, after hearing the sampler I immediately wanted the album. Unfortunately both iTunes and Amazon Music only provide music files in 256Kbps. While AAC (iTunes file format) is arguably superior to MP3's, I couldn't find any hard evidence one is superior to another. So I'd prefer the 320Kbps...

CORSAIR PLEASE So the other day I was tweaking my computer a bit. I was having issues with my H55 Corsair AIO Closed Loop Processor Cooler since the temperatures were quite a bit higher than I had anticipated. Temperatures for the H55 setup were 40 IDLE - HIGH 60's/LOW 70's LOAD (Cinebench R15) and cracking 85C when really stressed (Prime 95 or LinX). Quick to jump to conclusions...

So this happened a couple of times already, but it occurred in instances where I felt it could have been caused on accident by my own actions so I ignored it. However today when I was brushing my teeth, I heard two long beeps, the same beeps that my Chromebook makes when I start it and don't press CTRL+D (using 'unverified' OS). I walked back to my room...lo...

So currently I am in talks with Sapphire (opened up a Support Ticket) since I am unable to change the VDDC (core voltage) offset with any software whatsoever. I have tried MSI Afterburner (and ticked off voltage unlock settings, turning off ULPS, enabling unofficial overclocking, etc), Sapphire TriXX, Gigabyte's OC Guru and Asus GPU Tweak. None of these tools gave me the option to adjust VDDC offset. The...
So recently the new GTX 970/980s were revealed and to my surprise--NO NVIDIA DOMINANCE PRICING. Did not expect that at all. The GTX 970&980's perform phenomenally at their price points. The 980 superior in both performance and technological aspects to the 780TI, and at a lower cost (release pricing 500 vs 700). The 970 being ridiculously cost effective in comparison to even AMD solutions at ~$320-350 ($330 for...
So first off, my specs/config, (I'm going to go through all the crap I had to deal with in order to reach stability but if you want to go straight to what my FIX was, it is at the bottom). System: CPU: Core i5 2500K OC to 4.5 (H55 with 2x 120SP Quiet Fans) RAM: 16GB (4x4) DDR3 Patriot Gamer Series 2 MOBO: Asrock Z77 Pro3 -> Intel...
Current I apologize for the crappy cable management but I got lazy Formerly The image is slightly outdated as the 670 was rocking an Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo III (1300/7200: 64C Load) Changes: Old parts became hand-me downs to ugly little brother 8) Case: NZXT Gamma -> Corsair 330R PSU: Corsair CX500 -> Corsair CX750M GPU: EVGA GTX 670 -> Sapphire R9 290 GPU Cooling: Artic Accelero Twin Turbo...
