Battlestation

So a battlestation refers a computer setup atleast by reddit's definition..

Andromeda is the current name of my computer. It was originally SpiritBanana and after enough changes it became SpiritMango. After more upgrades, I decided to give it a less childish name to signify its maturity.

Notes:
1 The DZ68BC does not support disabling spread spectrum as a result actual CPU Frequency is 4590GHz. Spread spectrum changes the value of the BLCK on the motherboard. On my Asus P8P67Pro, spread spectrum increase BLCK to ~100.3 Mhz while for this Intel motherboard it reduces it to 99.7Mhz

2 The reason the 290 is underclocked is due to the Black screen issue. I can avoid black screens by running at lower than stock frequencies as mentioned in my 290 Black screen work around page. The flashed bios is not the cause of the black screen. The 290X BIOS gives me stock 290 performance at the current clocks.

3 The QFR was modified with Blank PBT keys and O-rings

4 The DZ68BC has serious issues with reliability with the newer version of the BIOS and as a result I have not upgraded the BIOS despite purported feature fixes.

5 I've attempted OC'ing the memory a bit (timings and frequency). I had noticeable performance gains but had issues with stability/reliability so I leave it at stock for now.

6 I'm currently waiting for ~512+GB SSD for at most $150 before jumping onto a larger SSD, I currently use the 90GB SSD for OS and 60GB for games--though for large games it is difficult to manage space

7 My CX750M surprisingly failed me and as a result I am currently on a Rosewill Capstone 750Watt power supply
