In line with all these news about Airplanes

First I must say this has got to be one of the most heart-wrenching occurrences I've seen on the news in a while--I've been following since day one. The thing that bothers me the most is that there have been many false leads and we are literally no where closer to finding the plane now than the day it went missing. Now, as of March 14, they have revealed that the plane was likely Hijacked due to the movements of the aircraft appearing deliberate.

Although it sounds awful to say this I hope that this is true as this scenario would probably would lead to the highest likely hood of all the passengers still being alive right now in contrast to theories of catastrophic failure in which the passengers would have certainly passed on by now. I do understand, however, in a scenario that there was a hijacking, I doubt the hijacker would care about the well-being of the passengers. It's a cynical perspective but an honest one--humans can do kind and great things for each other, just as well as they can do terrible things to one another.

I feel absolutely terrible for what the families must be experiencing and I hope the for the best and well-beings of those who were on board the plane and their families.

Update: March 28th--The media basically led me to think that the airplane was deliberately diverted thus the signaling possibility of a hijack. However, now it seems that the leading theory of what occured has changed--that a catastrophe such as a fire, likely occurred on the airplane (such as in the cockpit) and that there was no fowl play. It does seem a bit strange that the plane would be flying so long (4-5 hours) and still have the capability to fly through apparent "flight checkpoints" while a fire is burning in the cockpit. Would a plane really still be capable of specific navigation after a fire occurs in the cockpit?  Was there a hijacker? Was there a catastrophe on board due to Malaysian Airlines aircraft maintenance negligence?

All I can say now is, news sites need to making pointless updates. No one wants to read stories like this such stores like-> UPDATE: 120 Objects spotted in the Indian Ocean...UPDATE: 300 Objects spotted in the Indian Ocean...just kidding it was a paper bag..UPDATE: Found object in Indian Ocean, we have no idea what it is...UPDATE: Object that was found is unidentified....

My condolences goes to the families and a big thanks to the hardworking SAR teams.

Hmmm airports...

Some of my own Airplane Stories:
When I was in Southern California, Ontario Airport, preparing to fly back to San Francisco to stay with my grandparents when going through Security, they stopped me and opened one of my bags. That particular bag contained my G72's (Asus G72 Laptop) power brick which under x-ray probably looks like square brick like object wrapped in wire. Pretty sure security thought it was a bomb or something, heh. One of the security guards also commented on the size of the laptop as well, "HAH, this laptop is HUGE--must like HD or something!" The airport was secure, but also friendly. That is more than can say about SFO TSA employees.

After reaching San Francisco and staying with my Grandparents for a couple of days, I would be sent on another plane to Hawaii to visit my Parents. Before that however, my grandpa had mistakenly dropped me off at Hawaiian Airlines terminal. Hawaiian Airlines was the airlines was the airlines my parents always take but my flight was on United Airlines. Unfortunately, since I had my plane ticket printed at my grandparents house, I did not need to check-in. The *genius* in me did not bother comparing the airline on the ticket to the terminal I was at. I went through security at Hawaiian Airlines, had my ticket checked even though it was United Airlines--nobody said a thing. I walked up to check Gate numbers and I was confused as hell that the gate numbers make no sense to the one on my ticket. Oh sh--. I started heading back and noticed through all the glass at SFO that outside was pouring bloody hard (winter time hooray). I looked at a map for Terminals, United Airlines was quite a walk away. There was a civilian tunnel that was closed so I noticed a TSA lady just standing there. I walked up and said 'Hi, can I ask--" (I was going to ask if there was any other way to reach the terminal which was quite a walk away) before getting immediately cutoff and being told she cannot answer any questions. So I walked out into the pouring rain, started trekking towards the UA terminal. Luckily I only walked a couple of feet in the rain before a nice cab driver offered me a ride at no charge to the next terminal. Luckily I got through security in time and onto m flight despite going through security at the wrong terminal.
